Water Treatment Controls & Automation

Crown Controls provides controls and automation services for water-treatment facilities, covering new installations, plant upgrades and ongoing support. We develop and integrate PLC, HMI and SCADA systems to suit the treatment process and the people operating it.

Controls Development & Project Delivery

Our team has hands-on experience with industrial water-treatment plant, including reverse osmosis, treatment sequences, pump and valve control, instrumentation and operator interfaces.

We take on controls and automation projects from defining the requirements through programming, integration and commissioning. We work with plant operators, equipment suppliers and contractors to deliver the controls required for new equipment, expanded facilities and improvements to operating plant.

SCADA & Ignition

We develop and support SCADA systems, including Ignition, bringing plant status, process readings and alarms together in a clear operator interface. The focus is practical: helping operators understand what the plant is doing, identify problems and find the information needed to respond.

Our work on the water-treatment system pictured includes adding an Ignition interface to the existing installation, giving operators visibility of treatment processes and equipment status.

Leak Detection & Plant Protection

We have also integrated leak detection into the pictured plant’s control system. Detection raises an alarm and, depending on where the leak is detected, can automatically close valves to limit further water loss.

This is one example of how we extend plant monitoring and control, adapting the response to the equipment and the way the plant operates.

Discuss Your Plant or Project

Whether you are planning a new installation, upgrading a plant or need support with an existing system, we can discuss the equipment, the scope and what is required on site.

Based in Co. Mayo, we deliver controls and automation projects across Ireland, with on-site and remote technical support available.
